Judge Kim is a judge of the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County, appointed in 2002. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Kim served in the County Attorney’s Office for Montgomery County and the Office of the Attorney General of Maryland. Judge Kim has been in private practice and as a principal of his own law firm. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was conferred the Adjunct Professor of the Year Award for the 2004-2005 academic year.
