Linette F. (Gatmaitan) Golden is originally from Arlington, Texas. She attended Johns Hopkins University and graduated in 2003 with a double major in Public Health Studies and French Literature.

Linette earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2006 with a concentration in Family Law. She served as the UB APALSA Student Liaison in 2005-2006. She practices family law in Robert A. Ades and Associates, P.C., in Landover, Maryland.

Linette lives in Silver Spring with her husband, Dave, their two pet rabbits and German Shepherd, Meeko.
